Job Overview

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with customers, understanding their technical requirements and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs. As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of arenaflex's cloud computing products and services, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business and technical requirements, lead full technical discovery, and design customer solutions to meet assembled requirements
  • Lead technical projects, technology support, bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources
  • Deliver product messaging for the arenaflex Cloud Platform using whiteboard and slide presentations, product demos, white papers, trial management, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents
  • Drive recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application frameworks to implement a complete solution, providing best practice advice to customers to optimize arenaflex Cloud Platform effectiveness
  • Attend customer sites, meetings, and other events as required

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role
  • Experience with legacy and modern application development, cloud service delivery, and networking
  • Experience with containers, including Kubernetes and other related technologies

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Full Scope Polygraph clearance
  • Experience developing mobile architectures using API management, microservice architectures, PaaS, and container orchestration systems, or other relevant platforms
  • Experience working with Government Public Sector clients, including defense and civilian agencies
  • Knowledge of application security architectures, including web application security, service mesh, and mobile security techniques
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, philosophies, and solutions in the arenaflex Cloud/IT technology space

  • Strong technical knowledge of cloud computing, software engineering, and networking
