Early Career Trial Attorney
Job Description:
• Manage all phases of insurance defense litigation from case inception through verdict
• Organize and prepare case materials for hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare summaries and reports
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and related filings
• Interview clients and witnesses, prepare summaries of statements
• Attend court hearings and other proceedings to represent clients
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and advise on impacts
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and current Nevada bar license
• Successful completion of coursework in legal research, writing, and analysis
• Strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational proficiency in managing case files and legal documents
• Effective communication skills for client interactions
• Knowledge of legal ethics and adherence to standards
• Basic negotiation skills for client interactions
• Must reside within commutable distance to courthouses in Clark County, Nevada
