About the Role

As a Test Development Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing ongoing software development support to lead network security activities with external manufacturing partners and internal test development teams. You will be working on a wide range of projects, from developing and maintaining our server farms to building the next generation of arenaflex platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and define the security hardening process and provide instructions to Contract Manufacturers (North America)
  • Collaborate with internal and partner engineers and managers to drive test and security improvements
  • Work with cross-functional teams to investigate security issues
  • Manage operating system upgrades and provide support for periodic hardening updates, network security, remote access, and system administration of test stations
  • Work with Python test scripts based on test specifications
  • Perform root cause analysis of system test failures and implement corrective or preventive actions

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in software development and testing. Here are some of the essential qualifications we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development, hardware debug, or test engineering
  • Experience working with security policy/process, servers, or network equipment
  • Experience with Python programming development, coding, input/output systems (Profiles), and operating systems (OS)

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will give you an edge in this role:

  • Experience with operating system configuration and Bash scripting
  • Experience with cloud platform software development
  • Experience working in security or software development teams
  • Experience in testing products for manufacturing, working with partner or contract manufacturing (ODM, OEM, JDM)

Compensation and Benefits
