Job Overview
As a Part-Time Remote Customer Retention Specialist at arenaflex, you will work from the comfort of your own home, handling incoming calls and resolving customer inquiries and issues related to internet customer service. You will act as a liaison between customers and our processing department team, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure customer retention and satisfaction. Our comprehensive training program, which includes approximately four to six weeks of paid training at our headquarters or via webinar, will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries and issues in a professional and empathetic manner, resolving problems on the first call whenever possible
- Present arenaflex in a positive light, promoting our products and services while maximizing sales opportunities and meeting sales goals and expectations
- Utilize salesmanship skills to suggest products and provide lighting and home décor solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth
- Prevent customer returns and ensure customer retention through reasonable negotiations and effective problem-solving
- Partner with management to escalate customer and product issues, identifying trends and communicating them to management in measurable terms
- Provide proactive and consistent follow-up to customer inquiries via phone or email, responding to all customer emails on the same day
- Document customer interactions, actions taken, and expectations set forth, maintaining accurate and detailed records
- Maintain high standards of quality service, demonstrating improvements when necessary and adhering to our QA program
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience or retail background, with call center experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate details to customers in a professional and calm manner
- Computer literacy, with the ability to navigate through programs and windows
