**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including clients, carriers, brokers, government agencies, and internal teams
* Processing customs shipments, including data entry, documentation, and compliance with regulations
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including shipment documentation, customs forms, and other relevant paperwork
* Collaborating with internal teams, including operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and efficient processing of shipments
* Staying up-to-date with changing regulations, laws, and industry developments to ensure compliance and optimal performance
* Utilizing various systems and reference materials to process shipments and resolve issues
* Performing other duties as assigned to support the team and drive business growth
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management, business administration)
* High school diploma or equivalent required; industry experience preferred
* Minimum of 6 months of work experience in a related field (e.g., data entry, customer service, logistics)
* Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Experience with data entry and computer systems (e.g., Viewpoint, Office equipment)
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high volumes of work
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or supply chain management
