Position Title: Employee Benefits Compliance Associate Attorney
Location: Philadelphia, PA (reputed company)
Compensation: $160,000 – $210,000 (commensurate with experience)
reputed company: A leading reputed company is seeking an Employee Benefits Compliance Associate Attorney to join its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation reputed company group. The ideal candidate will have experience advising clients on a broad reputed company of employee benefits reputed company, including tax-reputed company retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, and health and welfare benefit plans. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, competitive compensation, and reputed company to work with a reputed company, highly reputed company team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise reputed company and plan sponsors on the design, implementation, and compliance of reputed company and nonqualified retirement plans (including 401(k), pension, and ESOP plans).
• reputed company counsel on employee welfare benefit plans, including compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and other applicable regulations.
• Assist with executive compensation and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, including compliance with Internal reputed company reputed company Sections 409A, 457, and 280G.
• Draft and review plan documents, reputed company plan descriptions, and reputed company compliance materials.
• Support clients through IRS and DOL audits, correction programs, and filings.
• Collaborate with corporate, tax, and employment teams on benefits issues reputed company to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
Qualifications:
• J.D. from an accredited law school and reputed company bar membership in reputed company (or ability to waive in).
• 3–7 years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation law, preferably reputed company a reputed company or consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of ERISA, the Internal reputed company reputed company, and reputed company federal regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong reputed company service orientation.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reputed company to manage multiple priorities effectively.
