[Remote] Head of Financial Investigations & Forensic Accounting (Senior Leadership Role)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Wolf Global is an international investigations, advisory, and crisis-management firm. They are seeking a senior leader to lead and develop the firm’s financial investigations and forensic accounting capability, ensuring continuity and long-term leadership in complex, cross-border investigations.
Responsibilities
• Leading complex, cross-border financial investigations and forensic audits
• Serving as the firm’s senior authority on financial investigative methodology and standards
• Shaping investigative strategy and case architecture, including evidence planning, sequencing, and priorities
• Designing and overseeing investigative approaches in high-risk, high-stakes matters
• Directing, mentoring, and quality-controlling the work of forensic accountants and investigators
• Working closely with Wolf Global’s leadership on strategy, resourcing, and matter architecture
• Producing and reviewing senior-level written work, including investigative reports and court-facing or expert-support materials, as appropriate
• Engaging with counsel, clients, and other stakeholders where appropriate
Skills
• Extensive experience in financial investigations and/or forensic accounting, including cross-border matters
• A track record of leading teams, practices, or major investigative workstreams
• One or more relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, CFE, CAMS, or equivalent)
• Substantial experience as a former prosecutor or enforcement attorney handling complex financial investigations, asset tracing, forfeiture or recovery strategy, or transnational financial matters
• Demonstrated ability to direct forensic accounting resources, shape investigative strategy, and assess financial evidence
• Experience working closely with investigators, forensic accountants, and external experts in high-stakes matters
• The ability to exercise independent judgment in complex, imperfect, or adversarial environments
• Strong writing skills and experience producing work subject to external scrutiny
• Professional credibility with lawyers, investigators, forensic specialists, and senior decision-makers
• Willingness to undergo a thorough background review consistent with the nature of Wolf Global's work
