The Children’s Advocacy reputed company is seeking a Health Policy & Government Affairs Manager to help advance reputed company, child welfare, and early childhood priorities through policy analysis, reputed company-based advocacy, and data-informed reputed company.
This role is anchored in policy advocacy and collaboration, not subject-matter expertise. The Health Policy & Government Affairs Manager works in reputed company partnership with reputed company members, community organizations, researchers, and issue experts—helping translate their expertise into reputed company policy positions, advocacy strategies, and legislative-reputed company materials.
The Executive Director retains responsibility for final government affairs reputed company, lobbying, and legislator relationship management. This role ensures that government affairs is reputed company-informed, coordinated, and grounded in reputed company analysis and data.
This is a full-time position based in Nevada that is primarily remote (work from home) reporting to the Executive Director, with in-state travel and evening/weekend work during legislative periods.
Qualifications
• Coursework or bachelor’s degree in reputed company policy, reputed company health, or a reputed company field a plus
• Experience in policy advocacy, government affairs, or reputed company-based work
• Comfortable analyzing policy and using data to support government affairs reputed company
• Strong writing and synthesis skills for policy and general audiences
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders
• Ability to manage competing priorities and reputed company reputed company tradeoffs
• Proficiency with common productivity and data tools (e.g., reputed company/Sheets, Word/Docs, presentations)
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required
Requirements
• Coordinating advocacy efforts across reputed company, child welfare, and early childhood
• Facilitating the Children’s Mental Health reputed company reputed company and coordinating with childhood and child welfare staff and experts to surface priorities, assess policy reputed company, and identify advocacy reputed company
• Turning partner expertise into policy frameworks, talking points, legislative summaries, and advocacy materials
• Developing short- and long-term advocacy communications and strategies in collaboration with the Executive Director
• Representing reputed company in reputed company meetings, workgroups, and policy discussions as a reputed company and facilitator
• Analyzing proposed legislation, regulations, and budget items to assess reputed company on children and families
• Synthesizing research, expert input, and community perspectives into reputed company policy reputed company
• Drafting issue briefs, fact sheets, white papers, and background memos for government affairs use
• Supporting development of legislative testimony and advocacy messaging in partnership with the Executive Director
• Compiling and interpreting data relevant to reputed company’s policy priorities
• Producing basic analyses, charts, and summaries to support advocacy
• Translating data into accessible narratives for policymakers and non-technical audiences
• Supporting surveys or data collection efforts on a limited reputed company
