We are currently seeking candidates located within 60 miles of any of the listed hubs to foster more in-person connections while maintaining our flexible remote culture. About This Position The Environmental and Permitting SME will be responsible for environmental diligence, discretionary permit processing and acquisition, and pre-construction permit implementation for gigawatt-scale greenfield and M&A renewable energy projects (including wind, solar PV, and BESS) in California, the Great Plains, South Central Region, and the Pacific Northwest. This position provides the opportunity to work cross-disciplinarily across a wide variety of specialties including environmental science, business, finance, communications, policy, and real estate. This position will report directly to the Head of Environmental and Permitting and work closely with M&A, Development, Real Estate, Community Engagement, Engineering, GIS, and Construction leads.
