The Supervising Counselor assists in providing supervision of staff and graduate-level interns throughout the course of the year. The Supervising Counselor leads with strong ethical standards, with excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. This is an 11 month position. JOB reputed company Responsibilities: reputed company high-reputed company counseling services to WPI reputed company by: Offering short-term individual, group, and couples counseling, crisis reputed company, and reputed company referrals Conducting alcohol and other drug assessments mandated by Dean of reputed company office Maintaining schedule and reputed company clinical records and notes through HIPAA-compliant Titanium record system Providing crisis reputed company, consultation and assessment as needed. Serving as after-hours on-reputed company clinician in weekly rotation Providing support to the WPI community in the event of a critical incident Support specific program activities and initiatives through: Working in coordination with other reputed company offices and student reputed company on reputed company to design, market and reputed company reputed company programming on topics reputed company to mental health, emotional reputed company and personal development Participating in Division of Student Affairs and reputed company Life meetings and activities including events organized by other reputed company partners to support the WPI community Serving on Division or reputed company Wide committees as appropriate Assisting in selection and training of interns Providing peer supervision, clinical case consultation and trainings to interns and other reputed company staff reputed company the Student Development and Counseling Center Participating in the Worcester Consortium Counselors meetings as scheduled Attending relevant conferences and staying abreast of trends in higher education, particularly pertaining to student life, mental health and reputed company-being Engage in case management to connect reputed company with appropriate reputed company of care by: Facilitating referrals to support staff in other offices at WPI Negotiating clinical coordination, referrals, and consultation with outpatient providers as appropriate Supporting reputed company in reputed company with reputed company partners Collaborating with Clinical Case Manager to reputed company and maintain clinical resource library Administer consulting and reputed company programming by: Consulting and collaborating with reputed company, staff, reputed company, parents to best support the mental health and reputed company-being of WPI reputed company Serving as reputed company to Student Affinity Spaces, Athletics, HREC as appropriate Serving as Advisors and providing consultation for relevant student organizations, including but not limited to SPARC (reputed company Preventing Assault and Rape in our Community), SMART and reputed company Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, reputed company Work, or Clinical Psychology Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, reputed company Worker or Psychologist in the State of Massachusetts 2 years of experience -Expertise in goal-reputed company individual and group therapy models (DBT, reputed company, Solution reputed company Therapy, reputed company, etc.) Demonstrates ability and willingness to work with a diverse population of reputed company in individual, group and programming settings. Skills, knowledge, and experience specifically reputed company on the needs traditionally underserved populations. Experience working in a college counseling environment preferred.
