Job Overview

The Senior Customer Success Manager will be responsible for driving business growth for our premium beauty Sellers, providing strategic insights, and delivering high-quality service through relentless operational standards. This role requires a unique blend of client management skills, data analysis, and problem-solving abilities, as well as the capacity to work backwards with Sellers to identify and prioritize key inputs and outputs that drive value and growth. As a trusted advisor and business advocate, you will build effective working relationships with your Sellers, deliver timely and professional operational support, and drive optimal program satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic joint business plans with Sellers, exploring innovative ways to identify and execute new selection, merchandising, traffic, and conversion drivers, and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify, action, and influence long-term opportunities to maximize potential for your assigned portfolio of Sellers.
  • Act as a strategic and influential partner for your Sellers, proactively seeking out new opportunities and creating tailored solutions and recommendations that drive customer success.
  • Lead business strategy development and design long-term account plans, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and your Sellers to drive customer success.
  • Implement and track metrics to record the success and quality of your portfolio of Sellers, using these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
  • Build effective working relationships with your Sellers, delivering timely, accurate, and professional operational support within specified SLAs.
  • Drive optimal program and Customer Success Manager satisfaction, liaising with other partner teams and coordinating cross-functionally to resolve Seller issues and questions quickly and with high quality.

Essential Qualifications

  • 4 years of professional experience in the beauty industry, with buying, merchandising, planning, and/or relevant experience in customer success, account management, management consulting, or negotiating, nurturing, and growing customer relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying business opportunities for clients and increasing adoption and utilization of company products.
  • Proven track record of building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders, driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through.
  • Ability to digest and manipulate large data sets using pivot tables, lookups, and compound formulas.
  • Analytical problem-solving ability, using data analysis, reporting, and forecasting to guide business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in e-commerce, corporate retail, consulting, and/or B2B.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with territory/account management, strategy development, and multi-phase execution and delivery.
  • Understanding of retail math and formulas for making business decisions.
  • Experience using analytical, account management, and productivity tools, including Oracle Business Intelligence, CRM tools like SalesForce, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired and ambiguity is the norm.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $72,000 to $154,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
