HighLevel Software Specialist Platform: GoHighLevel Important Requirements Please Read First This position is for individual applicants only. Applicants must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S. Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled HighLevel Software Specialist with advanced, hands-on experience building automation systems, AI agents, and Communities inside the GoHighLevel platform. This role goes far beyond page building and requires deep understanding of how automations, conversational AI, CRM logic, and community-driven engagement work together to drive conversions and retention. The ideal candidate knows HighLevel end to end and can architect scalable, reliable systems with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities Automations & Workflows • Design, build, and maintain advanced automation workflows including conditional logic, triggers, wait steps, branching, lead scoring, pipeline movement, and multi-channel follow-up • Implement automations for missed calls, form submissions, chat interactions, appointment scheduling, and long-term nurturing • Debug, optimize, and document workflows to ensure clean execution and scalability AI Agents & Conversational AI • Build and configure AI chat and voice agents inside HighLevel for websites, funnels, SMS, and inbound calls • Train AI agents using custom knowledge bases, FAQs, and business-specific logic • Set up guardrails, fallback logic, escalation rules, and human handoff workflows • Optimize AI responses for accuracy, tone, compliance, and conversion Communities (Critical Requirement) • Build, manage, and customize HighLevel Communities including structure, access levels, permissions, and onboarding flows • Automate community invites, role assignments, content drip, and engagement triggers • Integrate Communities with CRM pipelines, memberships, and automation workflows • Maintain a clean, intuitive community experience that supports education, retention, and upsells Funnels, CRM & Campaigns • Build and optimize landing pages, funnels, forms, and surveys inside HighLevel • Configure CRM pipelines, opportunities, tags, custom fields, and reporting • Manage email and SMS campaigns with segmentation, compliance, and deliverability best practices • Set up and manage affiliate programs including tracking and attribution Performance & Collaboration • Analyze funnel, automation, and AI performance and make data-driven improvements • Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to align HighLevel builds with campaign goals • Provide internal documentation and light training when needed Required Qualifications • Proven, real-world experience with GoHighLevel automations beyond basic templates • Hands-on experience building and managing AI agents inside HighLevel • Deep familiarity with HighLevel Communities and their integration with automations and CRM • Strong understanding of lead lifecycle, conversion optimization, and system logic • Ability to work independently, manage multiple systems, and troubleshoot efficiently • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Bonus Qualifications • HighLevel Certification • Experience with voice AI, missed-call text-back systems, and appointment routing • Knowledge of HTML and CSS for advanced page customization • Familiarity with Meta Ads, Google Ads, pixels, and attribution tracking • Experience managing agency-level HighLevel environments This Role Is Not For • Agencies, recruiters, or staffing firms • Candidates outside the United States • Anyone limited to basic landing page builds • Anyone unfamiliar with automation logic, AI agent training, or Communities What Success Looks Like • Automations that run cleanly with minimal manual intervention • AI agents that provide accurate, on-brand responses and drive conversions • Communities that are structured, automated, and actively supporting retention and upsells • Well-documented systems that scale without breaking Job Type: Contract Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour Application Question(s): • How many years of hands-on experience do you have actively building automations inside GoHighLevel (not just landing pages)? • Have you personally built multi-step GoHighLevel workflows using conditional logic, wait steps, branching, and pipeline movement without templates? • Have you built and deployed AI chat or voice agents inside GoHighLevel that were trained on custom knowledge bases and connected to workflows? • Have you personally built and managed GoHighLevel Communities including structure, access levels, permissions, and automations tied to onboarding or engagement? • Do you Currently Live in the United States?
