Job Category Corporate Services/Other Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards. Salary Range $68,600.00 - $113,000.00 Target Openings 1 What Is the Opportunity? As a Compliance Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting with compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for supporting strategies to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies. In addition, you will be accountable for raising awareness on compliance matters. What Will You Do? With guidance and oversight, assist in providing information for non-financial market regulatory activities, including market conduct exams, interrogatories, surveys, and data calls. Monitor producer/agency license requirements to ensure compliance. May assist with response to regulatory inquiries regarding appointments and/or licensing and may have contact with regulatory bodies. Regulatory Analysis Compile comprehensive synopses of market regulatory activities, including scope, findings, corrective actions, and financial impact Research competitor and Travelers regulatory information to support trending and benchmarking efforts Review reports and other tools to identify, research and address producer appointment and licensing deficiencies Data Management and Reporting Update compliance tools and databases to ensure accurate recording of regulatory developments and other key information Assist with the development and preparation of routine regulatory compliance reporting Monitor producer/agency licensing requirements to assist in communicating changes and updating relevant repositories Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with corporate leads and business compliance partners to manage regulatory deliverables Support coordination of compliance initiatives across multiple business units May assist with response to regulatory inquiries regarding appointments and/or licensing resulting from market conduct exams and/or Department of Insurance investigative inquiries May work with Field Sales for agency outreach Technology Integration Utilize AI tools where appropriate to enhance compliance processes, e.g., TravAI Support the implementation of automated compliance solutions Contribute to process improvement initiatives through technology adoption Perform other duties as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Bachelor’s Degree Three years prior experience with state jurisdictional guidelines, regulations, and procedures. Ability to analyze and understand laws and regulations as required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to actively listen and empathize and pay attention to detail and clearly convey information to various audiences. Relationship building skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners and build rapport. Ability to manage time and competing priorities and provide management with accurate and timely status information. Analyze information using reasoning and judgment to make decisions and solve problems. What is a Must Have? Two years of relevant business, compliance, and/or regulatory experience.
