Job Overview
As a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues they may encounter. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets, as well as book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations
- Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations, ensuring that their travel plans are minimally disrupted
- Perform passenger check-in and front seat assignment, correct oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades as needed
- Issue vouchers and provide direction with contractors for passenger lodging, meals, and transportation, as well as coordinate refuel and refresh
- Perform passenger boarding, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check, and work gate reader/scanner and related duties to include pre-boarding, monitoring/checking carryon items, and exit line models
- Operate jetways/bridges for purposes of boarding and deplaning passengers, and make boarding and departure gate announcements
- Convey domestic/international flight records, perform passenger service flight close-out procedures, and accept, check, and label passengers' baggage at destination points
- Maintain schedule of flight boarding process, perform customer care hands-on training, and process and complete credit card baggage transactions at counters in the ticket counter area and activation stations
- Assist passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage handling at ticket counters, and line queues at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
- Clear/confirm international documents at kiosk in the ticket counter area and activation stations, and accept and activate passengers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
- Assist customers requiring special assistance or in-station, help boarding, deplaning, and transporting non-ambulatory passengers, special assistance passengers, or unaccompanied minors
- Perform customer assistance work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
- Have standard and predictable attendance on-site, including meeting any mandatory overtime requirements
- Answer and assist during security and/or emergency situations, provide connecting passengers gate information, and give quality customer care in a professional manner and in accordance with arenaflex's guidelines
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using computer systems, software, and technology, including Saber or other passenger management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access authorization to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

- Bilingual language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English
- Previous experience working in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service
- Working knowledge of Saber or other passenger management systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology
- Experience working in a high-speed environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to deliver exceptional results
