**Job Summary**
We're seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our team in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling incoming telephone requests from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators, providing technical and emergency damage prevention services. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering inbound calls and following scripted questions from callers who will be digging
* Obtaining information about the customers and their work site
* Data entering information into a ticket format
* Identifying the work site on a mapping system similar to Google Maps
* Providing excellent customer service at all times
* Communicating effectively and creating positive relationships with excavators, peers, and management
* Processing information quickly and accurately using outlined criteria
* Accurately reading digital maps
* Demonstrating an interest in public safety
* Understanding and applying new concepts
* Ability to work effectively and independently in a home or office environment
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* High school diploma or GED
* Ability to listen and problem solve effectively
* General computer skills
* Ability to adhere to a work schedule including having good attendance
* Ability to work as a team
* Be self-motivated and able to work independently
* Willingness to work overtime based upon the business needs of the call center
* Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
* Must pass a criminal background check
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
* Previous customer service experience
* Experience working in a call center environment
* Familiarity with mapping systems and digital maps
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
