As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling incoming telephone requests from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators, providing technical and emergency damage prevention services. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive benefits package, including a comprehensive health insurance plan, paid vacations/personal/sick time (PTO), 401(k) plan, and more. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Answering inbound calls and following scripted questions from callers who will be digging * Obtaining information about the customers and their work site * Data entering information into a ticket format * Identifying the work site on a mapping system similar to Google Maps * Providing excellent customer service at all times * Communicating effectively and creating positive relationships with excavators, peers, and management * Processing information quickly and accurately using outlined criteria * Accurately reading digital maps * Demonstrating an interest in public safety * Understanding and applying new concepts * Ability to work effectively and independently in a home or office environment **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * High school diploma or GED * Ability to listen and problem solve effectively * General computer skills * Ability to adhere to a work schedule including having good attendance * Ability to work as a team * Be self-motivated and able to work independently * Willingness to work overtime based upon the business needs of the call center * Availability to work during operating hours of the call center * Must pass a criminal background check **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset: * Previous customer service experience * Experience working in a call center environment * Familiarity with mapping systems and digital maps * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment **What We Offer** As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy: * Competitive pay starting at $15/hour plus quarterly performance bonuses * Comprehensive health insurance plan at a minimal cost ($43/month for single coverage, $185/month for a family) * Paid vacations/personal/sick time (PTO) * 401(k) plan with 50% company matching up to 15% of your contribution * Casual, friendly work environment * Two-week paid training course * Ability to work at home remotely after training * Overtime opportunities * Monday through Friday hours ONLY, with 8-hour shifts between 6:00am and 6:00pm NO WEEKENDS **How to Apply** If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and are eager to join a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.
