Our company culture is built on a foundation of teamwork, innovation, and customer-centricity, and we're dedicated to creating a work environment that's inclusive, supportive, and fun. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * **Delivering Exceptional Customer Service**: Engage with customers, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. * **Registering Sales and Providing Efficient Checkout Service**: Register customer purchases, collect cash, and distribute change as requested; process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. * **Maintaining a Clean and Well-Merchandised Store**: Keep counters and shelves clean, take inventory, and maintain records; check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader. * **Implementing Asset Protection Procedures**: Identify and minimize profit loss by implementing company asset protection procedures. * **Ensuring Compliance with Laws and Regulations**: Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). * **Constructing and Maintaining Displays**: Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. * **Providing Customer Service in the Photo Area**: Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. * **Assisting with Web Pick-up Responsibilities**: Monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fill orders, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store. * **Maintaining a Clean and Orderly Store Condition**: Ensure a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance. * **Complying with Company Policies and Procedures**: Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers. **Essential Qualifications** * **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role. * **Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: You must be able to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management. * **Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment**: You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. * **Basic Math Skills**: You must be able to perform basic math calculations, including handling cash and processing transactions. * **Ability to Lift Up to 25 Pounds**: You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, as required by the job. **Preferred Qualifications** * **Customer Service Experience**: Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required. * **Retail Experience**: Previous retail experience is preferred, but not required. * **Basic Computer Skills**: Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, are preferred. * **Ability to Work a Flexible Schedule**: You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. **Skills and Competencies** * **Customer Service Skills**: You must be able to provide exceptional customer service, including resolving issues and answering questions. * **Communication Skills**: You must be able to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management. * **Problem-Solving Skills**: You must be able to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. * **Teamwork Skills**: You must be able to work effectively as part of a team and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers. * **Adaptability**: You must be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
