As a Manager State & Higher Education, you'll play a vital role in executing our strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Southwest Business Department, where you'll coach and help to professionally develop our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management.

**Key Responsibilities**
As a Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be responsible for:
* Coaching and developing our Field Government Account Managers to achieve sales targets and establish formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.
* Identifying and hiring trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry to join our sales organization.
* Onboarding and training new team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
* Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including State, Local, and Higher Education officials.
* Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services.
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field.
* Proven track record of success in sales and account management, with a strong understanding of the managed travel industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop effective strategies.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
* Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* Experience in the airline industry or a related field.
* Certification in sales or account management, such as the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designation.
* Strong knowledge of the managed travel industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.

However, the majority of your working time will be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus.
