Part-Time Contract Transactional Attorney (Remote)

Position Overview Roasa Law Group is seeking a part-time, contract transactional attorney with experience in small business transactions and M&A. This is a fully remote role ideal for an attorney who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with purchase agreements, asset sales, operating agreements, and general small business transactional work. Key Responsibilities • Draft, review, and revise transactional documents, including: (Asset purchase agreements, Stock purchase agreements, Letters of intent, Operating agreements, Employment and independent contractor agreements) • Assist with small business acquisitions and sales • Perform contract analysis and provide practical recommendations • Communicate with the firm’s attorneys regarding deal structure and revisions • Ensure documents are accurate, consistent, and detail-oriented Qualifications • J.D. from an accredited law school • Active license and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • 2+ years of experience in transactional law • Experience with small business M&A or practice transactions • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment Preferred • Experience with healthcare or veterinary transactions • Experience working in a small firm or boutique practice • Comfort with fast-turnaround projects Work Structure • Part-time, contract-based role • Fully remote (work from home) • Flexible hours based on project needs • Expected workload will vary depending on deal flow Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule Application Question(s): • Briefly describe your experience with small business transactional or M&A work, including the types of deals you’ve handled and your role in them.
