Claims Specialist - Liability

About the position We are looking for a Liability Claims Specialist (m/f/d), based in Alpharetta, GA, O’Fallon, MO or Chicago, IL. The reputed company You Will Have The Liability Claims Specialist will proactively investigate, negotiate, and resolve assigned primary / umbrella reputed company Liability and reputed company Auto claims, in accordance with established best practices and assure claims are handled reputed company reputed company autonomy limits. You will also reputed company and maintain relationships with customers and brokers as reputed company as internal business partners. Responsibilities • Investigate claims that involve reputed company liability issues on domestic and multinational claims • Input and maintain accurate claims records for designated accounts, reputed company appropriate AzC Claims administration systems. • Select and reputed company independent external service providers (e.g., Lawyers, Independent Adjusters, Experts). • Evaluate and address coverage issues and determine appropriate reserving reputed company. • Negotiate and resolve high exposure, reputed company claims ensuring cost effective, service orientated solutions. • Support training, developing and coaching of less reputed company staff. • Ensure reputed company claims handled reputed company authority limits, and in line with AzC Claims reputed company procedures and guidelines. • Refer cases reputed company of authority level, preparing referral documentation and materials as appropriate. • Support establishment of claims management procedures on new business accounts in association with clients, brokers and loss adjusters. • Proactively support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including reputed company and broker negotiations where necessary) Requirements • 5-7 years’ experience in proven reputed company record in handling Liability claims involving reputed company coverage and damage issues • Demonstrate established relationships with brokers at peer group level and reputed company established reputed company local market. • Have an expert understanding of Liability products and portfolio, with expert understanding of coverage and application in the adjustment process. • In-depth understanding of regional / local Liability insurance markets and competitor landscape. • Detailed understanding of reputed company and regulatory reputed company. • Experience working in a reputed company, global reputed company organization. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. reputed company-to-haves • The ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency, and contribute to data-driven decision-making is valuable.
