Your future role at a glance: • Department: Real Estate • Location: Remote with 25% travel • Salary: $167,852.00 - $226,600.00 • Eligible for participation in the annual bonus program This role provides strategic and operational leadership across the real estate transaction lifecycle and business operations supporting a large, national non-acute portfolio. You will be responsible for designing and enabling execution of real estate solutions—from space needs to site divestitures—by overseeing a team of internal professionals and managing third-party brokerage partners. Rather than executing individual deals, you will lead the strategic intake, analysis, and structuring of real estate responses to business needs, ensuring cross-functional coordination, operational rigor, and accountability throughout the process. You'll also drive the infrastructure (processes, tools, dashboards, SOPs) that supports consistent, scalable execution across markets. This role partners closely with the Head of Real Estate to align transactional activity and operating model improvements with broader portfolio strategy, financial goals, and system priorities. How you'll make an impact in this role: Provide leadership for real estate operations and transaction execution across the non-acute portfolio. Support the development and execution of real estate strategy by ensuring cohesive processes, accurate data, and effective deal execution in alignment with organizational goals. • Lead real estate transactions across the owned and leased portfolio, including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and renewals, in alignment with real estate strategy. • Oversee real estate project management activities, ensuring real estate projects and initiatives are coordinated, tracked, and progress in alignment with strategic priorities. • Serve as a real estate lead for system-wide initiatives related to growth, efficiency, and access. Engage with operational leaders, identifying process improvements, and ensuring consistent execution of real estate-related components across markets. • Coordinate with the property management team to ensure proper communication and coordination on site-level activities, vendor transitions, and operational responsibilities that support broader real estate initiatives and transactions. • Translate strategic priorities into operational plans, performance metrics, and process improvements. • Manage data quality, dashboards, and analytics to support forecasting, reporting, and decision-making. • Lead the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and technology solutions to support transaction execution, and real estate operations. Establishes and monitors Key Performance Indicators to measure performance and process effectiveness. • Partner with real estate leadership and service teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and timely execution. What minimum qualifications you'll need: Licensure / Certification / Registration: • CERT COMMERCL INVST MBR preferred. • Cert Property Manager preferred Education: • Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management. What additional requirements you'll need: 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate or healthcare real estate, with a mix of transaction oversight, leasing, and operational process development. Experience leading real estate teams and managing broker/vendor relationships. Understanding of lease terms, rent structures, TI negotiation, and real estate financial drivers (e.g. triple net/gross, TI amortization, IRR/NPV basics). Strong organizational, analytical, and executive communication skills. Ability to lead in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
