Accountabilities • Lead payments related transactions by drafting and negotiating strategic agreements. • Support digital wallet initiatives and advise on crypto-related products. • Navigate data ownership and governance questions in commercial dealings. • Partner closely with various teams to identify legal risks and solutions. • Operate effectively in a high-intensity, fast-moving environment. • Contribute to legal function scaling with AI and streamlined processes. Requirements • J.D. and active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar. • 10+ years of experience in corporate and commercial law. • Significant experience with payments and payment network agreements. • Expertise in advising on digital wallet products and crypto topics. • Strong knowledge of data rights and governance. • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and project management skills. • Business-first mindset with comprehension of legal risk in context. • Effective communication skills with both legal and non-legal audiences. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. • Collaborative spirit with a low ego and high accountability. • Genuine interest in employing AI to enhance legal processes.
