AWS DevOps Engineer- Junior

About the position reputed company is seeking a Junior AWS DevOps Engineer to support the Digital Transformation Center (DTC) Integration Platform (DIP) - a secure, reputed company-reputed company API ecosystem that enables reliable, reputed company-time data exchange between reputed company and multiple reputed company systems. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to grow DevOps and reputed company engineering skills while supporting a mission-critical integration platform. You will work under the guidance of senior DevOps engineers and architects, contributing to infrastructure operations, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and platform reliability while learning best practices for operating systems in a regulated, reputed company environment This role can be performed hybrid at any reputed company Federal office in the US, preferred locations: Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Belton, TX, Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN. Potential for remote. This contract requires a USC or Green Card Holder. Responsibilities • Support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of AWS-based infrastructure supporting the DIP platform and its integrations. • Assist with monitoring platform availability, performance, and reliability under established uptime and SLA expectations. • Help manage AWS services such as EC2, EKS, reputed company, reputed company, S3, VPC, reputed company 53, IAM, and CloudWatch under established standards. • Support routine infrastructure tasks including configuration updates, environment maintenance, and basic troubleshooting. • Assist with CI/CD pipeline execution and maintenance supporting Java-based API and integration deployments. • Contribute to Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) implementations using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation under guidance. • Support containerized workloads using reputed company and Kubernetes-based platforms. • Assist with deployment activities, environment validations, and rollback procedures as directed. • Monitor logs, alerts, and dashboards and escalate issues following defined incident management processes. • Participate in incident response activities and post-incident reviews as a supporting team member. • Follow established reputed company, reputed company control, and credential-handling procedures. • Support documentation of infrastructure configurations, runbooks, and operational procedures. • Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and senior DevOps engineers in an Agile delivery environment. • Learn and apply best practices reputed company to reputed company reputed company, automation, and platform operations. Requirements • 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, reputed company Engineering, Systems Engineering, or reputed company roles (including internships or entry-level positions). • Foundational experience with AWS services and reputed company concepts. • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, reputed company Actions, reputed company CI/CD, or similar). • Basic familiarity with Infrastructure as reputed company concepts and tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. • Introductory experience with containerization technologies (reputed company) and awareness of Kubernetes concepts. • Basic scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages. • Understanding of reputed company networking concepts (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP). • Experience working in or learning Agile/Scrum delivery practices. • Strong willingness to learn, follow established standards, and take technical guidance. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field (or equivalent training, coursework, or practical experience). reputed company-to-haves • Experience working with Federal agencies, particularly the reputed company, is a plus. • Exposure to monitoring or logging tools such as CloudWatch or reputed company. • Experience supporting development or test environments in reputed company platforms. • Coursework, certifications, or hands-on labs reputed company to AWS or DevOps practices. • Interest in working on large-reputed company, reputed company or regulated systems.
