Intellectual Property Legal Assistant

Legal Assistant – Intellectual Property CGT IP Law is a new and growing intellectual property law firm located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. We pridefully foster a collaborative, supportive and inclusive work environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and talented legal assistant to join our dynamic team. The legal assistant will be responsible for managing intellectual property matters, attorney dockets, interacting with clients, and preparing and managing correspondence to clients, international attorneys and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years as a legal assistant or paralegal, 1+ years in intellectual property / patents is preferred. Candidates should have these preferred skills: - 1-10+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal - Proven organizational, multi-tasking and follow-up skills - Ability to work independently - Strong attention to detail - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - Experience with Pattsy Wave docketing software is a plus. Compensation Salary $50,000 - $75,000. Compensation for the role of legal assistant will be assessed in the interview process and depend on other considerations such as experience and relevant skills sets.
