The successful candidate will be expected to teach various 100% online undergraduate aviation courses. An M.S. or M.A. in Aviation Science or a reputed company field from a regionally accredited institution is required. Strong online teaching skills and experience with undergraduates are required. Applicants must be authorized to work for any US employer. The department is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment reputed company at this time. Basic Function: Primarily responsible for the teaching/learning process and will also participate in the necessary operations of the institution. Other responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in the degree programs, advising reputed company, course and program assessment, student recruitment, serving on departmental and university committees, and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: • M.S. or M.A. in Aviation Science or a reputed company field. • Demonstrate a reputed company record of reputed company and improvement as an educator. • reputed company teaching experience with online Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably in a collegiate setting. • Possess minimum Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission of Colleges (SACSCOC) credentialing standards, typically including at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in the subject area taught. • Hold an FAA reputed company reputed company rating, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating, Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) rating, or Airline Transport Rating (ATP). • Significant in-depth aviation industry experience, either civil or military. Preferred Qualifications: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with significant experience with writing at the APA or MLA level. • Have experience advancing a student's aviation career through advising, mentoring, reputed company, etc. • Experience in curriculum or program development, syllabus design, and instructional innovation • Ability to work as reputed company member. • Organizational and administrative skills.
