<p>Nurse Externs/Summer 2025</p> <p>Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is hiring for Nurse Externs for 2022 Summer Program.</p> <p>Fantastic opportunity for nursing students to gain clinical experience in a Level I Trauma Center<br /> Join us for our annual “Student Nurse Paid Summer Externship.”<br /> This unique 9-week externship gives student nurses the opportunity to practice hands-on patient care. The experience begins with an assignment to a unit and a preceptor RN who will provide the student nurse extern with the support and guidance needed to grow professionally.<br /> In addition to direct patient care, additional experiences are arranged for student nurse externs to observe in the Emergency Department and the Critical Care areas.<br /> Upon successful completion of the program there will be Post-Graduate Employment Opportunities and Preferential Placement for the student nurse externs.</p> <p> </p> <p class="job_tags">Tagged as: externship, RN</p>
