Claims Assistant - Contents Evaluation
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evaluates residential and reputed company contents inventories obtained by or submitted to VeriClaim on both a Replacement Cost and Actual Cash Value (reputed company) reputed company.
• Applies limitations and/or exclusions on claims based on coverage afforded by the policy.
• Tracks time and log file notes for daily field activity.
• Assists with answering telephones.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports the organization's reputed company program(s).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED required. reputed company Insurance Adjuster License (reputed company and Other Hazards) preferred.
Experience
One (1) year customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. reputed company and insurance background preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
• Oral and written communication skills
• PC literate, including reputed company Office products
• Good comprehensive decision making skills
• Ability to read and comprehend policy language
• Ability to work in reputed company environment
• Ability to meet or reputed company Performance Competencies
