We value collaboration, ownership, and high standards across both design and technical execution. Role Description We are hiring a full-time Senior Roblox Frontend Engineer for a remote position. In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers, gameplay engineers, and backend developers to build scalable, high-quality user interfaces and client systems within Roblox Studio. You will help shape the player experience by developing polished UI systems, implementing responsive layouts across devices, and improving maintainability using modern Roblox workflows such as Rojo and GitHub-based version control. This is a high-impact role suited for engineers who enjoy ownership, solving complex problems, and contributing to a large-scale live game environment. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain scalable UI systems using Roblox Studio and Luau. • Translate UI/UX designs into polished, responsive in-game interfaces. • Develop reusable frontend architecture and component-based UI workflows. • Integrate frontend systems with gameplay logic and backend/networked services. • Optimize client performance, memory usage, and rendering efficiency. • Debug complex client-side issues across devices (PC, mobile, console). • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a remote environment. • Maintain clean Git workflows and project structure using GitHub + Rojo. • Promote usability, maintainability, and high engineering standards. Qualifications • Extensive experience developing client-side systems in Roblox Studio (Luau). • Strong understanding of UI architecture and reusable frontend patterns. • Proficiency with Git, GitHub workflows, and Rojo-based development. • Deep knowledge of responsive design for multi-device Roblox experiences. • Experience optimizing Roblox client performance and troubleshooting UI systems. • Strong understanding of software development best practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment. Preferred (Nice to Have) • Experience working on large-scale Roblox games or live-service projects. • Familiarity with design systems or custom UI frameworks. • Experience creating internal tools or plugins for Roblox Studio. • Understanding of backend/networking concepts.
