Health Physicist/ Radiation Safety Officer - Hybrid
About the position
The Health Physicist/Radiation Safety Officer (reputed company/RSO) will reputed company and ensure the reputed company use of radiation and radioactive materials for at least 1 local manufacturing site. Additional responsibilities will be across multiple sites reputed company the assigned region. The Regional RSO will work closely with both local and corporate radiation safety staff to maintain and improve radiation safety programs at assigned facilities. Responsibilities
• Radiation Safety Program Management: Implement and manage a comprehensive radiation safety program across the assigned region, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., NRC, Agreement State, EPA).
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure reputed company facilities under the region’s jurisdiction reputed company with regulatory requirements for the reputed company use of radiation and radioactive materials. Stay up to date on changes to regulations and advise facility management and local RSOs on the reputed company of any new laws, guidelines, and corporate policies.

• Radiation Monitoring & Risk Assessment: reputed company routine inspections and assessments of facilities. reputed company the region’s state and/or federal radiation safety audits, including assigning CAPAs, submitting responses for corporate RSO review and submission, and monitoring ongoing compliance for the region.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of radiation safety inspections, audits, training, and incidents. Prepare and submit reports as required by regulatory authorities.
• Collaboration: Work with corporate RSO, corporate pharmacy personnel, and manufacturing personnel on licensing reputed company and actions throughout the reputed company system.
• Equipment & Safety Systems reputed company: Ensure the reputed company functioning and maintenance of radiation safety equipment, including personal reputed company devices, monitoring equipment, and emergency systems.
Requirements
• Master’s degree in health physics, radiological health, or other science with 7 years of radiation safety experience.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding radiation safety.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in developing and delivering training and educational programs.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in the use of radiation detection and monitoring equipment.
• Ability to assess reputed company situations and reputed company informed reputed company regarding radiation safety.
• Effective communication skills, including writing reputed company, concise reports.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
