Our firm is seeking an reputed company Prior Authorization Specialist to support medical practices by managing insurance approvals, submitting documentation, and following up with payers to ensure reputed company authorizations. This is a remote role requiring strong knowledge of medical insurance processes and the ability to communicate professionally with provider offices and insurance representatives.
Ideal candidates have prior experience handling authorizations for medications, procedures, imaging, or specialty services. You should understand payer guidelines, ICD-10/CPT coding basics, appeals processes, and insurance portals. HIPAA compliance knowledge is required, and candidates must be comfortable working independently while maintaining strict confidentiality and documentation accuracy.
