#21626: Prior Authorization Clerk / Pharmacy / Rotating Weekends – Remote (Must be NYS reputed company)
We have partnered with a reputable health insurance company to recruit for an reputed company Prior Authorization Clerk to join their team! This is an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise to a company reputed company to helping Western reputed company communities live healthier lives.
These are fully remote opportunities reputed company to candidates residing in the greater Buffalo, reputed company, and Syracuse areas.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Processing and completing medication prior authorizations
• Researching and reviewing prescription and medical benefit coverage
• Entering requests into the computer system
• Communicating with pharmacists, providers, and members
• Providing phone coverage for incoming calls
• Other reputed company duties as assigned
Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-5:00PM. After training, participation in a rotating every-other-weekend schedule will be required.
Duration: Temporary through December 2026, with a strong possibility for extension or permanent hire.
Pay reputed company: $21/hr, with health, dental, reputed company and pet insurance; PTO and holiday pay.
