Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to provide part-time presales leadership and strategic advisory services for enterprise Salesforce initiatives. This role focuses on solution architecture, presales support, and early engagement leadership, working closely with System Integrators (SIs), sales teams, and US-based enterprise clients.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across the Salesforce platform, strong experience in enterprise CRM transformations, and the ability to articulate business value, operating models, and implementation roadmaps during presales and discovery phases.
Key Responsibilities
Presales & Solution Architecture
• Lead Salesforce solution design for presales activities including RFP/RFI responses, proposals, demos, and client presentations
• Define end-to-end Salesforce architectures aligned with client business objectives
• Develop implementation roadmaps, effort estimates, staffing models, and pricing inputs
• Partner with sales and account teams to position Salesforce as a strategic business platform, not just a CRM
• Contribute to win strategies and compelling solution narratives for complex pursuits
Client & SI Engagement
• Act as a trusted advisor to US enterprise clients and System Integrator partners
• Lead discovery and solutioning workshops across business and IT stakeholders
• Collaborate with SI teams on co-delivery models, governance, and platform ownership
• Support executive-level conversations with Sales, Marketing, Service, and IT leadership
Salesforce Platform & Transformation Advisory
• Architect solutions across Salesforce clouds, including:
• Sales Cloud, Service Cloud
• Experience Cloud
• Marketing Cloud / Account Engagement
• Data Cloud
• Custom App Development (Apex, LWC)
• Define integration architectures with enterprise systems (ERP, marketing platforms, data platforms)
• Advise on data strategy, security, identity, and compliance
• Establish KPIs, reporting, and adoption metrics
• Guide platform scalability, reuse, and technical debt management
Delivery Enablement (As Needed)
• Provide architectural oversight during early delivery phases
• Review solution designs, configuration approaches, and integration patterns
• Support smooth transition from presales to delivery
• Mentor Salesforce architects, developers, and delivery leads
Required Qualifications
• 12–15+ years of experience in enterprise IT, CRM, or digital transformation
• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience at architect level
• Proven experience working with System Integrators and enterprise clients
• Strong experience supporting US-based customers across presales and delivery
• Deep knowledge of:
• Salesforce platform architecture
• CRM data models and business processes
• Integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware)
• Security, roles, and sharing models
• Strong presales experience, including:
• RFP responses
• Solution design and estimation
• Client workshops and executive presentations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
• Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect preferred)
• Experience with multi-cloud and global Salesforce implementations
• Exposure to regulated industries (Financial Services, Healthcare, Public Sector, Utilities)
• Experience defining Salesforce operating models or Centers of Excellence
• Consulting or SI leadership background
