Description Location: United States - Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview: Joseph & Associates has a need for a WordPress Developer experienced in both front-end and back-end development to support digital modernization initiatives for government and commercial clients. This role is ideal for someone who can balance hands-on coding with client-focused customization and agile collaboration. Key Responsibilities: • Design and maintain responsive, Section 508-compliant WordPress websites • Customize themes and develop custom plugins to meet user needs • Optimize websites for performance, scalability, and security • Troubleshoot bugs, maintain updates, and manage version control • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and content strategists to align technical builds with client goals Required Experience & Skills: • Bachelor's Degree • 5 years of experience developing WordPress sites (both front-end and back-end) • Solid knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL • Familiarity with REST APIs and WordPress hooks/actions • Experience with Git, Agile workflows, and browser testing tools • Understanding of security best practices in WordPress environments • Experience working with federal agencies or a plus Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
