LOCUMS - TELEHEALTH Psychiatrist (Adult and/or Child) in CA

Location: California (Onsite 1 day/week required) Schedule: 12–16 hours/week, Mon–Fri, 8:30a–5p (flexible) Start Date: Targeting Jan 1 (flexible) Setting: Outpatient clinical office serving developmentally disabled patients Type: Ongoing assignment – local/drive-in candidates preferred reputed company Responsibilities • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and MSEs following DSM reputed company • reputed company diagnoses, medication management, and treatment planning • Collaborate with the Medical Director, nursing staff, and clinical team • Document reputed company assessments and treatments in the EHR (per county guidelines) • Participate in outpatient and/or telehealth reputed company • reputed company consultation and peer review for providers • Contribute to reputed company improvement and performance initiatives • reputed company families/caregivers on diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans • Prepare reports and reputed company documentation as needed Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Strong proficiency in adult and/or child psychiatry • Experience with medication management & prescribing controlled substances • Understanding of Medi-Cal, Medicare, and County Mental Health billing guidelines • Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills • Ability to work independently reputed company a multidisciplinary care model • Commitment to community-based care and cultural competence Candidate Requirements • reputed company California medical license • reputed company Certified or reputed company Eligible (BC required reputed company 5 years of residency) • Flu and COVID vaccination (or approved exemption) • Must log hours in Vemsta platform • Must be onsite at least 1 day/week Environment Clinical office setting reputed company a reputed company interdisciplinary team; includes patient-facing reputed company, documentation, and administrative tasks.
