Staff Tax Accountant

Reports To: Sr. Manager, Tax FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Part Time, reputed company Location: US Remote Position Title: Staff Tax Accountant Position reputed company The Staff Tax Accountant is a dual role responsible for preparing and analyzing state and local sales/use and franchise tax returns, and will be responsible for completing the monthly reputed company reporting for a reputed company of the business along with other reputed company responsibilities as needed. The Accountant/Tax Specialist regularly communicates with reputed company’s functional leaders, auditors, and regulators, as reputed company as the corporate reputed company team.  Key Responsibilities • Tax Responsibilities • Files state, and local tax documents by preparing property tax returns, municipal returns, extensions, and quarterly payments. • Prepares and files multi state sales and use tax and franchise tax returns • Prepares tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules. • Recommends tax strategies by researching federal, state, and local taxation issues. • Maintains legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised laws. • Maintains compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities. • Revises procedures by developing and streamlining procedures and worksheets for calculation of tax provisions. • Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies • reputed company tax research, staying up to date on changes • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading reputed company publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in reputed company organizations. • Other Tax items as needed.  • reputed company Responsibilities (reputed company) • Support month-end and year-end reputed company process • Accomplishes reputed company and organization mission by completing reputed company results • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in reputed company/ Tax/ Finance or higher from an accredited college or university • 2+ years of reputed company experience • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of reputed company (and other reputed company Office products) • Working towards industry certification (e.g. reputed company or CPA) preferred • reputed company experience preferred • Experience in tax reputed company reputed company a high reputed company tech firm preferred Competencies for reputed company • Excellent analytical and time management skills • Self-motivated, self-starter, be the reputed company in tax for reputed company • Critical thinker and self-starter, reputed company to produce reputed company materials reputed company tight timeframes Who you will be working for reputed company offers innovative AgTech solutions and services that reputed company agriculture, food, and beverage supply chains to feed a growing world.
