[Remote] QA Tester(Manual + Automation)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cloudesign is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with a focus on both Manual and Automation Testing. The candidate will be responsible for preparing test scenarios, performing various types of testing, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Responsibilities • Understand business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data • Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, system testing) • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts • Work on automation frameworks using tools like Selenium / Cypress / Playwright • API testing using Postman / Rest Assured • Perform Database testing (SQL queries) • Identify, log, track, and retest defects • Collaborate with developers, BA, and product teams • Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies • Ensure timely delivery with quality standards Skills • 4+ Years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies • Strong knowledge of SDLC & STLC • Test case design techniques • Bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) • Selenium WebDriver with Java / Python • TestNG / JUnit • API testing using Postman / Rest Assured • Perform Database testing (SQL queries) • Identify, log, track, and retest defects • Collaborate with developers, BA, and product teams • Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies • Ensure timely delivery with quality standards • Basic database knowledge (MySQL / SQL Server) • Agile methodology • BDD (Cucumber) – Good to have • Maven / Gradle • Git / CI-CD (Jenkins) – Good to have Company Overview • Where Service Meets Innovation It was founded in 2014, and is headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka, IND, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
