Risk Adjustment Trainer
Job Description:
• Design and deliver training that strengthens risk adjustment knowledge, elevates coding accuracy, and drives quality across the organization.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to identify learning needs and create impactful educational programs.
• Support employees from onboarding through ongoing development, ensuring they have the tools to succeed.
• Partner with external vendors to ensure compliance standards are met.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate coding guidelines that align with CMS regulations.
• Responsible for department wide risk adjustment quality assurance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 3 years - Experience in the design and development of training programs required.
• 3 years – Risk adjustment and ICD-10 coding required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.
• Adobe eLearning Suite.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Understanding of ICD-10 coding standards required.
• Must possess the AAPC Certified Risk Adjustment Coder Certificate (CRC).
