Coastal is looking for a high performing Director, Financial Services to join our team. The Director, Financial Services impacts the way our Financial Services team delivers customer solutions, collaborates as a team, and provides transformational leadership across the board for our or customers. The Director of Financial Services plays a significant role in creating meaningful work for our consultants by creating new growth opportunities to drive future revenue; driving strategic relationship of market channels with Salesforce and Partners; defining processes and innovating on accelerators that help drive better engagement with customers. Additionally, the Director of Financial Services will work to recruit, hire, staff and train consultants into the practice. The Director of Financial Services will play a significant role in taking the organization to the next level of performance, helping to scale the organization and capabilities. Success is measured for this role by the achievement of sales & revenue goals and the achievement of individual utilization targets.
Role Responsibilities:
• Financial Services Practice
• Strategy: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to innovate and achieve company objectives
• Strategy: Develop key accelerators to help increase time to value to our customers and a standardized methodology for onboarding employees and customers
• Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day direction for a team of direct reports on a project(s); handle the performance feedback and annual review processes for direct reports
• Support recruitment, selection, staffing and onboarding of consultants to projects; assist in qualifying opportunities and work with people managers and consultants to assess project fit
• Build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
• Provide leadership, coaching, performance feedback and resources to associates
• Be a clear and consistent communicator with the team and leadership

• Financial Services Sales
• New growth opportunities to drive future revenue; working collaboratively with our go to market team to identify new opportunities and ensure continued growth success
• Drive strategic relationship of market channels with Salesforce and Partners
• Develops excellent client relationships and builds Client C-Suite relationships
• Maintains an accurate pipeline of all opportunities - entering, tracking and monitoring sales opportunities
• Recommending & implementing improvements to achieve sales goals
• Provides value in complex negotiations & the closing of new business
• Staying abreast of new product offerings from channel partners and incorporating into selling efforts
• Financial Services Delivery
• Oversee full project lifecycle, scope, budget, timeline, resources, deliverables, issues and escalations
• Collaborate with project teams to address potential issues around scope, solutioning, cost, and refines future scoping models to drive better efficiencies
• Coordinate with Delivery Director to ensure delivery health, including client relationship, margin, utilization, revenue
• Escalation point for client and project issues
• Identify and implement improvements for delivery as we scale and move more into the enterprise/strategic space
• Tracking and monitoring delivery status
• Coach, mentor and motivate delivery leadership and team members to consistently follow defined best practices in delivery methodology, and take proactive actions to ensure green projects and successful customers
• Success Factors
• Grow the practice - sales, revenue and team size
• Become an enterprise consultancy - deliver enterprise level Salesforce/CRM projects
• Develop the team - grow talent from within
• Expand the relationship with Salesforce and Coastal Cloud brand recognition
Experience/Skills Required:
• 10+ years of consulting experience in delivery leadership relative to iterative software development, ideally Salesforce
• Demonstrated success delivering consulting and implementation services
• 4+ years of experience leading groups of 20+ individuals distributed nationally
• 8-10+ years of experience delivering business solutions on the Salesforce platform; demonstrated ability to speak to the delivery approaches and considerations for different sizes and scales of projects and clients across Salesforce clouds
• Experience with the salesforce.com Go-To Market Channel
• Excellent communicator who can easily understand business requirements and think on their feet
• Entrepreneurial Self Starter, who is good at setting expectations and managing to timelines and deliverables
• Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
