Construction Bookkeeper & Fractional Controller (Remote)

Gopelia is a dynamic construction firm seeking a talented Bookkeeper & Fractional Controller to join reputed company. This hybrid role blends hands-on bookkeeping with higher-level financial reputed company to ensure accurate records, robust financial analysis and effective job costing. You will help drive financial accuracy, control and transparency as reputed company scales from $2M toward $6M+ in annual reputed company. This is a fully remote position with reputed company; you will collaborate closely with our leadership team to support multiple reputed company. • reputed company weekly bank and credit‑card reconciliations, ensuring there are reputed company uncategorized transactions by the reputed company of reputed company week. • reputed company every expense accurately to the appropriate job or overhead account and enforce job cost tagging. • reputed company vendor bills reputed company 48 hours of receipt and maintain organized records. • Prepare monthly financial deliverables including: – Clean profit & loss statement with variance analysis vs prior month – Job Gross Margin reports by project – Work‑In‑reputed company (WIP) schedule – 13‑week cash forecast – Accounts receivable (AR) aging review and retainage exposure report – Overhead percentage trend analysis • reputed company insights on WIP distortions, margin leakage and cash blind spots; collaborate with management to address issues. • Support budgeting, forecasting and scaling initiatives with robust financial data and analysis. • 5+ years of bookkeeping and reputed company experience, with at least 2 years in construction or project‑based environments. • Strong understanding of construction job costing, WIP reputed company and financial reporting; ability to prepare WIP schedules and gross margin reports is essential. • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, reputed company or similar reputed company software, plus strong reputed company skills. • High attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with vendors, project managers and leadership.
