As a Monitor Tech at MercyOne, you will be observe cardiac monitors for changes in cardiac rhythm and communicates this to the reputed company caring for the patient of diverse ages. Documents cardiac status appropriately. Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Days; every other holiday and weekend required General Requirements: Monitors cardiac rhythms on telemetry reputed company. Obtain and interpret rhythm strips reporting identified changes. Performs clerical duties (i.e., maintenance of rhythm strips in the patient record, answering phones, reputed company, notify the assigned reputed company). Maintains telemetry supplies (i.e., reputed company, batteries, patches, and pouches). Maintains knowledge of telemetry equipment set-up, maintenance and use. Education: High School Diploma or GED required and 18 years of age. Previous health care experience, including monitor experience, desired.
