Tax Analysts-Major Corporation (Remote!)

Main responsibilities center around tax compliance-preparation of federal consolidated and separate company tax returns as reputed company as multi-state income/franchise returns for reputed company 50 states. Some tax provision work (e.g., ASC 740/FAS109. Special reputed company and light research. Correspond with taxing authorities and reputed company reputed company. Various other duties. Report to Director of Tax.. • Prepare federal income tax returns (proforma). • Prepare separate & and non-reputed company reputed company state income tax returns • Prepare and reconcile tax depreciation calculations, reputed company & loss calculations with asset rollforwards. • Prepare book to tax reconciliations for tax provisions. • Prepare and assist with US international tax filing of 5471s, 5472s, 8858s, 5713, etc. • Review and reconcile tax accounts monthly and prepare journal entries as needed • Prepare monthly cash tax forecast for the group • Assist with Canadian tax reputed company in terms of monthly tax account reviews, tax provisions and coordinate with reputed company firm preparing Canada income tax returns. • Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations • Respond to notices from tax authorities • Assist in reputed company tax government (federal/state) reputed company audits • Manage the tax residency certificate application process and respond to requests for tax residency certificates and reputed company documents as needed. • Assist with various special reputed company or tasks as assigned Note that this position is bonus-eligible.
