Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Health Insurance Broker specializing in Medicare to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their sales expertise and industry knowledge to assist clients in selecting the most suitable Medicare plans. This role involves engaging with potential clients through various channels, providing expert guidance on insurance options, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. A strong emphasis on communication, negotiation, and customer service skills is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
• Conduct outside sales activities to identify and engage prospective clients interested in Medicare plans.
• Provide personalized consultations to explain plan benefits, coverage options, and enrollment procedures.
• Manage sales administration tasks, including documentation, follow-up, and maintaining accurate client records.
• Utilize analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Engage in marketing efforts to promote Medicare products through various channels such as sales events and community outreach.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and guiding clients through the enrollment process.
• Stay informed about industry trends, policy changes, and new Medicare offerings to provide up-to-date advice.
Qualifications
• Life and Health License (2-15) is Required
• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a focus on Medicare or health insurance preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse client populations.
• Excellent analysis skills for assessing client needs and matching them with suitable plans.
• Experience with sales administration tools and marketing strategies is desirable.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and benefits administration practices is required.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
