This role is part project manager, part client success lead, and part air traffic controller—ensuring that web and eCommerce projects move forward every single day without delays, miscommunication, or bottlenecks. You’ll be the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication through the founder’s inbox and translating client needs into clear tasks for the dev team. You’ll handle QA, gather assets, make decisions on sequencing, and ensure projects maintain momentum from kickoff to launch. This is a high-trust, high-ownership role designed for someone who thrives on closing loops, solving problems before they escalate, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. Key Responsibilities Client Communication & Inbox Management • Own all day-to-day communication with clients via the founder’s email inbox • Act as the trusted liaison between clients and our dev team lead • Keep clients informed, supported, and confident—without needing constant founder involvement Project Coordination & Execution • Translate client requests into clear written tasks and instructions for developers • Sequence tasks, assign timelines, and ensure QA is completed before client delivery • Monitor daily progress across projects, address blockers proactively, and make sure work is never “stuck.” Asset, Access & Information Gathering • Collect and organize credentials, approvals, brand assets, and requirements upfront • Maintain clean, accessible documentation and access logs throughout each project Quality Control & Final Reviews • Review dev work to ensure accuracy, functionality, and adherence to project scope • Communicate edits or clarifications clearly to both clients and developers • Flag only true exceptions for founder review (billing issues, relationship concerns, etc.) Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years of experience managing client-facing web or e-commerce projects • Fluent in English – written and spoken – with confident, professional client communication • Inbox ownership experience (juggling multiple client threads) • Strong working knowledge of WordPress (page builders, plugins, hosting platforms) • Confident using Shopify for light content edits, updates, and coordination • Strong project management and follow-through skills (you close loops, not open them) • Excellent judgment – knows when to escalate, when to move forward independently • Highly organized, proactive, self-managing, and comfortable under light structure Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) • Familiarity with SEO terminology, Figma, or Google Sheets • Prior experience working with U.S.-based clients or small agencies • Comfortable coordinating with hosting or SaaS support • Light QA or content editing experience in WordPress/Shopify • Experience with project management tools (ClickUp, Trello, Asana) Personality Traits That Will Make You Successful • High Ownership Mentality – You take responsibility for outcomes, not just assigned tasks • Tenacious & Focused – You finish what you start and keep projects on track without external pressure • Calm Under Pressure – Clients may get urgent, but you stay clear and steady • Confident Decision-Maker – You don't freeze when things are ambiguous—you act • Clarity-Driven Communicator – Every message you send adds confidence, not confusion • Progress-Oriented – You value momentum over perfection • Trustworthy & Discreet – You’ll be handling credentials and sensitive business details Why Join Grant Web Development We’re a small, tight-knit team building clean, custom websites and eCommerce platforms for U.S. clients. We move with purpose—not chaos—and care deeply about quality, client experience, and long-term relationships. You’ll be trusted, supported, and given the autonomy to do excellent work without micromanagement or burnout culture. We value: • Calm execution over urgency • Long-term thinking over short-term hustle • People over process—but we still love process Compensation: Starting at $1200 USD per month for 20 hours a week.
