Startup Business Consultant – Business Plan, Market Analysis & RFP (Cloud Web Service)

We are an early-stage cloud computing web service startup seeking an experienced business consultant to help us develop: A comprehensive business plan A market opportunity and competitive analysis A formal RFP for vendor/technology qualification and evaluation This project is focused on structured, actionable, and data-driven deliverables. Project Scope & Deliverables The consultant will: Develop a business plan outlining strategy, positioning, and structure Conduct market opportunity and competitive analysis Draft and structure an RFP to evaluate vendors/technology Deliverables should be professional and clear, suitable for internal strategy and decision-making. RFP Objective The RFP will be used to determine whether prospective vendors have the technical capability, experience, scalability, and operational maturity to perform the required work. The consultant will translate our technical and business requirements into a structured RFP document that: Clearly defines scope and requirements Requests detailed vendor capability responses Establishes evaluation criteria Enables objective assessment and informed partner selection The consultant will not manage vendors or run the evaluation process — only develop the RFP framework and content. Deliverables should be professional, structured, and suitable for executive-level strategy and decision-making.
