Cash Operations Analyst
Job Description:
• Fund wholesale origination loans in accordance with internal controls and funding timelines.
• Support the correspondent funding process, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
• Track and monitor origination escrows, ensuring proper calculation, disbursement, and reconciliation.
• Process and confirm wires as requested, including validation of wire instructions and compliance with internal procedures.
• Perform daily and monthly cash reconciliations and other supporting account reconciliations.
• Monitor cash activity and ensure proper posting and movement of funds.
• Provide backup support for core Finance and Accounting functions as needed.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting, research, and special projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the success of the department with willingness to cross train and share in all department
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in mortgage funding, cash operations, treasury, or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of wholesale and/or correspondent mortgage funding processes.
• Experience processing wires and handling time-sensitive cash transactions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
