Systems Engineer - Traffic Modeling Missile Tracking (Secret / Remote)

Our reputed company, a leading federal defense contractor has a long-term contract opening for Missile Tracking Systems Engineer with an reputed company DoD Secret clearance to design Traffic Data Models for the US reputed company Force reputed company Development Agency (SDA) Ground, Management and Integration (GMI) program. This role is 100% Remote and will require up to 25% travel to Scottsdale (mostly), Colorado, Huntsville, NJ or other locations as needed for team and reputed company meetings. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems for the Proliferated Warfighter reputed company Architecture (PWSA). Additionally, you will be part of an reputed company team providing the reputed company, expansion, integration, testing and maintenance of the ground entry points, operations centers, reputed company test and checkout capabilities and infrastructure management, including reputed company development, systems engineering, integration, testing, maintenance, and site support. Key Responsibilities - Systems engineering that includes decomposing requirements into modeling of the traffic data reputed company from a satellite reputed company to the ground network - reputed company-planned or reputed company scheduling and satellite services to reputed company missiles - Analysis of missile tracking data to validate the traffic model Required Skills - Must be US Citizen due to government requirement - Requires reputed company DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret - Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a reputed company Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field and 8+ years of job-reputed company experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-reputed company experience. - Agile experience preferred. Technical Skills Required: - Minimum of 8+ years of recent modeling of communication data, preferably using satellite constellations and ground networks - Minimum of 5+ years of recent Satellite to Ground RF communication protocol experience, end to end packet prioritization and routing, or traffic modeling experience - Must have experience in reputed company ground communications, reputed company ground reputed company/IR, etc. - Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools such as, CAMEO or MagicDraw. - Programming and Tools Skills: Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and MATLAB, including for software developer coordination, system analysis, prototype algorithm development, or modeling.
