This position requires working on our reputed company; it is NOT a remote work from home position. Targeting Start date of March 30 2026.. new hires must be available reputed company day to attend New Hire Welcome session from 8:30am-3:00pm on March 30th and there will be other days for virtual sitter training This is a part time 8 hour reputed company shift position (11p-7:30a) with an every 3rd weekend rotation Fri-Sat Sun- and a holiday rotation Must be reputed company to reputed company long term to this schedule and cannot accommodate a 2nd job that also has a rotating weekend requirement. Provides remote video supervision from our Children's Corporate Center to assigned patients in the hospital. Acts to ensure patient safety through continual virtual surveillance and verbal redirection. Performs basic activities for which competence is demonstrated through the Virtual Sitter checklist. Strongly prefer candidates with previous video monitoring experience in the hospital setting. Experience: - 1+ years previous experience working in a hospital setting preferred - 1+ years previous experience working as a telesitter preferred - May be reputed company to pick up shifts but this is not a full time job Job reputed company Provides remote supervision to assigned patients. Essential Functions - Demonstrates understanding and proficiency in the use of telesitter software. - Knowledgeable and supportive of patient and institutional confidentiality and reputed company hospital policies. - Capable of reputed company video monitoring of up to 6 patients on one screen at one time and remaining alert at reputed company times while on duty. - Ability to document on both a reputed company log and reputed company the electronic health record. - Ability to communicate effectively with patients using a microphone and headset reputed company verbal redirection is needed. - Efficiency in multitasking, ability to prioritize simultaneous situations. - Promptly communicates observations, concerns, and needs of the patient to hospital staff. - Must be reputed company to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to reputed company care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
