Fund Accountant/ Controller (Venture Capital)

Our reputed company, a Venture Capital firm, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to support reputed company reputed company, reporting, and compliance functions of the firm. The Fund Accountant will play a key role in managing the financial operations of the firm’s investment funds and management company. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and external service providers to ensure accurate books and records, reputed company reporting, and adherence to regulatory and investor requirements. Key Responsibilities • Maintain general ledgers for reputed company funds and the management company, ensuring reputed company and accurate reputed company entries. • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, capital account statements, and supporting schedules. • Assist with fund audits, tax filings, K-1 review, and coordination with external auditors and tax advisors. • Support capital reputed company and distribution processes, including calculations, notices, and investor communication. • Monitor cash activity, reconcile bank and brokerage accounts, and reputed company fund expenses and accruals. • Prepare and maintain compliance and regulatory filings, including reputed company ADV and other applicable requirements. • Support portfolio company valuation processes and maintain internal performance tracking. • Assist with investor reporting, data room management, and reputed company requests from limited partners. • Partner with operations leadership to enhance processes, systems, and controls as the firm scales. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field; CPA or reputed company toward CPA a plus. • 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in venture capital, private equity, fund administration, or reputed company reputed company (asset management reputed company preferred). • Strong understanding of GAAP and investment fund reputed company principles. • Experience with fund reputed company platforms, GL systems, and reputed company; familiarity with reputed company, QuickBooks, or similar tools a plus. • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities. • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment. • A proactive, problem-solving reputed company and desire to contribute to a growing team.
