Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Technical Lead Manager to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the seamless delivery of crucial security and functional solutions to client environments, guiding the strategic direction of our cyber‑security, threat intelligence, and data‑operations initiatives. While this is a remote‑first position, occasional travel to client sites in Virginia may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Serve as the principal liaison for high‑profile clients, translating complex security requirements into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the vision for arenaflex’s cyber‑security and threat intelligence service lines, aligning them with market trends and client needs.
  • Team Management: Lead a multidisciplinary team of cyber‑security engineers, threat analysts, and data specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Threat Intelligence Operations: Oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of strategic cyber‑threat intelligence (CTI) across the Detect, Protect, Respond, and Recover domains.
  • Incident Response Coordination: Guide the coordination of incident response efforts, ensuring timely communication, accurate reporting, and effective remediation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Deliver clear, concise briefings and written reports to both technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive leadership and board members.
  • Process Innovation: Identify complex, ambiguous challenges, develop systematic approaches, and drive adoption of best‑in‑class processes across teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all services comply with relevant standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, FedRAMP) and maintain necessary security clearances.
  • Thought Leadership: Mentor junior analysts, promote knowledge sharing, and contribute to arenaflex’s thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and industry conferences.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering threat intelligence in a client‑facing environment.
  • Hands‑on expertise with CTI processes and tools within at least one functional area: Detect, Protect, Respond, or Recover.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior leadership, driving strategy, and presenting to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Active US Government Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph, or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong analytical mindset capable of synthesizing raw data from sensors, alerts, and logs into actionable intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience analyzing, handling, and disseminating strategic CTI in operational settings, supporting detection, investigation, and response capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of CTI lifecycle and the ability to coach and develop new CTI talent.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of translating technical findings for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to navigate complex, ambiguous problems, develop structured methodologies, and influence cross‑functional partners.
  • Experience working in fast‑paced, rapidly evolving environments, showing resilience and adaptability.

  • Base Salary: $153,000 – $234,000 USD, commensurate with experience, location, and qualifications.
