[Remote] IVR Application Architect

The IVR Application Architect is a senior technical authority responsible for defining and evolving the architecture of IVR applications, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with business strategy. Responsibilities • Own and define end-to-end IVR application architecture across platforms and integrations • Translate business and non-functional requirements into architectural designs and principles • Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance IVR solution architectures • Define and maintain architectural patterns, standards, and best practices for IVR systems • Provide architectural leadership and technical direction to IVR Engineers and the development team of 2-5 developers • Review designs and implementations to ensure architectural compliance and quality • Guide integration strategies between IVR applications, web services, and internal systems • Identify architectural risks, performance constraints, and scalability limits early in the design phase • Support complex production issues from an architectural and systemic perspective • Collaborate with Project Managers on technical planning, estimation input, and delivery feasibility Skills • Proven expertise in IVR application architecture within enterprise or large-scale environments • Strong background in IVR and web application platforms from an architectural perspective • 5+ years of experience with Java (J2EE is preferred) systems (architecture and design focus), GoLang is a plus • 3+ years of hands-on IVR experience, sufficient to guide and validate engineering decisions • Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, Object-Oriented Programming, and design patterns • Solid expertise in speech and IVR standards (VoiceXML, SRGS, MRCP, CCXML) • Experience designing scalable, stateful IVR architectures • Demonstrated ability to lead technically, mentor engineers, and influence design decisions • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain architectural trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders Benefits • Health insurance • Language courses • Relocation program Company Overview • Miratech is an IT services and outsourcing company that provides managed IT services to large and midsize multinational organizations.
