Project Manager (Pharma, Biotech, Laboratory, R&D)

OPPORTUNITY For an experienced Project Manager to lead teams of architects, engineers, and interior designers to deliver scope, budget, and quality for complex science + technology projects, including pharmaceutical, biotech, laboratory, and R&D facilities. Work closely with clients to establish expectations, identify needs and goals, and consistently deliver successful design solutions through Hixson’s integrated architecture and engineering teams. This key role requires a professional with high levels of integrity, leadership, communication skills, and the proven ability to deliver complex and challenging design projects. POSITION Reports to the Vice President/Manager of Project Management. Leads Hixson’s specialized and multi-disciplinary design teams to achieve successful project outcomes, while building rapport with clients and key project stakeholders. This position will work proactively across multi-discipline design teams and provide leadership and mentorship in an environment that values collaboration. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field; PE, RA, PMP a plus • 5+ years of experience working on facility design projects in the pharmaceutical, biotech, laboratory, and/or R&D market • Solid knowledge of contracts (design and construction), schedules, arenaflex estimating and the design process • Proven success in developing client relationships to understand their business and advocate their needs • Ability to travel up to 20% to client sites across North America COMPANY Located at the base of historic Mt.
